My Christmas Holidays - By Andreia Sequeira

My Christmas holidays were great! The first week was to relax, and well deserved that since we had so much time at school. I had already done my Christmas tree but to decorate a little more my home I tried to do some crosswords with the words "Natal" and "Ano Novo", they had words like happiness, family, love, angels, union, friends... in my opinion is what is the most important, because that's what we need to be happy, beside who we most love. To wish a happy Christmas in a more artistic form I made some cards to add to these as a souvenir. On Christmas night I had dinner at my paternal grandmother's house with my cousin and his parents. It was funny, we exchanged gifts before midnight because then I had to go home to my other cousin. Here, we exchanged gifts at midnight it was really cool because we sang in "Sing Star", played Playstation and we also played with “Nurf” a game to vests and guns. It was a Christmas fun. The only thing I miss at Christmas is Santa Claus, Christmas without the mystery of Santa Claus does not have much enthusiasm, because part of Christmas is to children and Christmas + children = Santa Claus!
Right next to Christmas we have the New Year’s Eve, I started in 2011 with my cousin and my uncles at my house, it was great because it was the first time I spent to a new year with them. I love the passing of years, I love to feel a new year almost upon us, and the anxiety of the count is really exciting! On New Year's Day we had a family dinner at my house, my cousins also came they are 3 years and they are twins and very funny.
Well, my holidays, could not have been better especially the sweets were delicious and I love sweets, especially chocolate mousse!
